Editorial policy

This page sets out how IndusValley Journal produces what it publishes, and what our existing archive is. We have tried to write it so that every sentence is checkable.

How articles are made

We have not yet published a statement of how the articles on this site are produced. Until we do, do not assume they were written or checked by a person.

Sourcing, from here on

Once this standard takes effect (no date has been set yet), every article that reports a fact drawn from elsewhere — a government release, a company filing, a regulator’s statement, another publication — will link to that source directly, so you can check it against the original rather than take our word for it.

What our archive is

We are not going to pretend the standard above describes what is already here. Articles published on this site before that date were produced with automated tools, carry no source links, and have not been checked against primary documents. Where any of them names a person or a company in connection with an allegation, that piece has not been independently verified by us and should not be relied on. We are working through the archive; anything we cannot stand behind will be corrected or withdrawn rather than quietly left up.
